DaviDavid Pogue's Tim Cook Interview: Apple at 50

David Pogue interviewed Tim Cook as part of a larger package about Apple’s upcoming 50th anniversary on CBS Sunday Morning. It was a great interview, and they posted the extended chat (above) on YouTube.

I’ve mostly watched Pogue on Sunday Morning and especially in the early to mid 2000’s, although he’s well known for his writing at Macworld and The New York Times, and as an author.

His latest book, Apple: The First 50 Years, comes out on Tuesday, and it’s already a top seller. I’ve got it preordered on my Kindle, and used one of my Audible credits to get the audio as well. Pogue is a great storyteller and was especially good at telling tech stories to consumers, so I’m looking forward to him blending his ability to tell a complicated story in an accessible way with the room to get extra nerdy.

While not a landmark year, I celebrated my 23rd anniversary as a Mac user in February. The memory of going to Apple Crossgates to get a Titanium PowerBook G4 back in 2003 with my Dad remains one of my favorites.
